GOP Attacks Main Street Americans, Uses Speech to Attack Obama and Not Speak On Issues

US Senator Barack Obama campaigning in New Ham...Image via Wikipedia Tonight the parade of Republican speakers at tonight's GOP convention delivered some of the more biting and sarcastic speeches I have seen on a national stage. However, Palin took the cake with her sarcastic and mean-spirited attacks on Barack Obama regarding his work as a community organizer and his motives for supporting regular people.

Palin has dared to tread into the "experience" debate. She compared the experience of being Mayor of a village of 9,000 people to that of a community organizer in a city of 3 million people. As someone who grew up in a place similar to the town Palin ruled, I can tell you Mayors of small towns spend more time using thier snomobiles than tending to town people. I know the Mayor of St. Albans, Vermont should not be vice-president of his fanasy baseball leauge, let alone vice-presidnet of the United States.

I believe that Sarah Palin's attacks today will only prove two things:

One, she could not speak about substance so she stooped to one-liner jabs.

Two, she is the one who is out of touch with main street America and our needs. Where was the talk about our economy, or schools, or our environment?
