The Scott Harper campaign has recently been added to the DCCC list of emerging campaigns. Scott is a small businessman and academic who can help turn around the disasterous policies of the last eight years and represent the people of the 13th district.
When I first meet Scott Harper while working as the DCDP Political Director, I was impressed with the way Scott takes an intellectual approch to the issues.
Scott recognizes that in the 13th district there are two world-leading centers of scientific research, Fermi Laboratory and Argon National Labortories. To support them, and the people who work there, Scott would not support Geroge Bush's cuts to NIH as Judy Biggert has. Scott will work to ensure that new projects and research opportunities come to the 13th district.
Scott will work to reverse No Child Left Behind and to support Barack Obama's proposal to help make a college education affordable to middle and lower income families.
Support Scott Harper and give Obama more support in congress. Click here to donate today.
